Children love to learn. School takes that away by structuring learning with constraints, like age limits and schedules and clocks that say how much and what kind of learning is best for all. The punishment for not conforming is staying back, repeating, not being allowed to move forward. Students cannot thrive when time drives learning.

Julie had been researching and developing her strengths-based concept for over a decade when she met Dr. David Gomillion of Texas A&M University at the Conference on Inspiring College Teaching. Students from his Cloud Computing course teamed up in the spring of 2024 to develop a basic prototype of the app Julie described.  Meghna Pradhan stayed on the project as Lead Developer after the course was over, transforming the functioning but basic product into a complex tool that makes tracking student achievement simple..  

The app, school system, workbooks, and curriculum are shaped by ongoing feedback from practicing educators with a focus on ease of use, competency, strengths, and meaningful progress.
